5 Day Cruise on Lake Nasser

Day 1

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Aswan at 10 am. After arriving at Lake Nasser, you'll board the cruise ship, settle in, and have lunch. The rest of the day is free to enjoy views of the Aswan Dam from the deck.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will visit the Temple of Kalabsha on the island. Highlights include the Temple of Qertassi, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Post-lunch, the journey on Lake Nasser continues.

Day 3

Visit the ruins of Wadi es-Sebua, where you'll explore the Temples of Dakka and Mahrraqa. After the excursion, return to the cruise ship for lunch and relaxation.

Day 4

The cruise continues south, offering views of the ancient citadel of Qasr Ibrim and the Temples of Derr and Amada. After lunch, you'll dock at Abu Simbel to see the colossal sculptures of Pharaoh Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. The evening includes dinner and a light and sound show at Abu Simbel followed by overnight on the ship.

Day 5

After breakfast, you will travel from Abu Simbel to Aswan by road. If needed, drop-off at the airport can be arranged three hours before your flight departure.

What's the Cruise Ship Like?

The cruise will take place aboard the Nubian Sea or a similar boat.

Note on Prices

The price is per person in a double room. Solo travelers must pay a supplement.Bookings for three people will be in a double room with an extra bed; single rooms incur a supplement.

All-Inclusive

The price includes transportation, accommodation, meals, guides, excursions, and entrance fees (except Tutankhamun's Tomb). Other agencies may lack inclusivity, leading to higher final costs. For bookings before July 1st, 2024, taxes and tips are additional.

Important: Accommodation in Aswan Before the Cruise

Hotel pickups begin at 10 am. Staying overnight in Aswan prior to the cruise is advised. Accommodation that night is not included in the cruise price.

Seasonal Dates

From December 20 to January 2 (Christmas) and Easter, cancellation refunds are not available.
