Abu Simbel Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll visit the astonishing temples of Abu Simbel, notable monuments in Egypt.

Day Trip Details

The tour departs from Aswan at the indicated time. Pickup will be at your hotel or boat. An early morning departure is ideal to arrive at the temples first thing and avoid the midday heat, while also enjoying the sunrise in the desert.

After 3 hours, we'll arrive at Abu Simbel, a complex with two rock-excavated temples, one for Ramses II and the other for his wife Nefertari. The site took 20 years to construct and was protected under the sand until the 19th century.

The guided tour will last approximately 1 hour, providing insights into the temples' history and the efforts made to relocate them. After visiting, we will return to Aswan, with a total trip duration of 7 to 8 hours.

If your hotel or boat is outside the city center or the mentioned islands, you must go to one of the indicated meeting points.
