Day Trip Details
The tour departs from Aswan at the specified time, with pickup from your hotel or boat. An early start is essential to arrive at the temples in the morning and avoid the midday heat, while also experiencing sunrise in the desert.
After 3 hours, we will reach Abu Simbel, a complex with two rock-excavated temples, one for Ramses II and the other for his wife, Nefertari. Constructed over 20 years, these temples are well-preserved due to being buried beneath the sand until the 19th century.
The guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour, allowing visitors to explore both temples and learn their histories. We will discuss the relocation of the temples and Egypt’s actions for international assistance.
After our visit, we will return to Aswan, arriving between 7 and 8 hours after departure.
