On this tour, we will explore significant human achievements throughout history, visiting the Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest in the world, along with the Aswan Dam, a major 20th-century engineering project.
Itinerary
After pickup at your hotel or boat, we will travel to the Aswan Dam, completed in 1970 to protect Egypt from the Nile's annual flooding.
The next stop is the Unfinished Obelisk, from the reign of Queen Hatshepsut, which would have been the largest in Ancient Egypt at 42 meters tall and weighing 1,200 tonnes, if completed.
Continuing to Agilika Island, between the old and new Aswan Dam, we will visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, a key location in the legends of Isis, Osiris, and Horus.
After the tour concludes, we will return you to the starting point, approximately 5 hours after initial pickup.
