Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples Tour

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Aswan and travel north through the desert and fertile riverside plains of the Nile. After a little over an hour's drive, the first stop is Kom Ombo, known for its unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. The complex features halls and sanctuaries, adorned with mysterious hieroglyphics.

A short five-minute walk from the temple leads to the Crocodile Museum, showcasing mummified reptiles and the significance of these animals in Ancient Egypt.

Following lunch at a local restaurant in Kom Ombo, the tour continues to Edfu, where you will visit the Temple of Horus. This site reveals the significance of the deity in the religious and cultural life of Pharaonic Egypt.

After the visit, you will return to your accommodation in Aswan, arriving about 10 hours after pickup.

This activity includes pickup from hotels, hostels, and apartments in Aswan. For accommodations on the following islands, pickup will be at specified meeting points:

West Aswan Island: West Bank Ferry Terminal.Elephantine Island: KFC restaurant in Kornish Al Nile or Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island: West Bank Ferry Terminal.

If your accommodation is not located in the city center or on the mentioned islands, you must go to one of the indicated meeting points.
