Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples Tour
You will be picked up from your hotel in Aswan and travel north through the desert and Nile's fertile plains. After over an hour's drive, the first stop is Kom Ombo, which features a double temple dedicated to deities Sobek and Haroeris. The temple contains halls, courts, and sanctuaries, with over-2000-year-old stone structures adorned with hieroglyphics.
Next, a five-minute walk leads to the Crocodile Museum, showcasing mummified reptiles revered in Ancient Egypt. After lunch at a local restaurant in Kom Ombo, the tour continues.
In Edfu, you will visit the Temple of Horus, learning about the significance of this deity in the cultural and religious life of Pharaonic Egypt. Following the visit, you will return to your accommodation in Aswan, arriving approximately 10 hours after pickup.
