You will be picked up from your hotel or cruise ship in Aswan at the scheduled time and travel to the banks of the Nile. Here, you will board a felucca, a traditional Egyptian boat, and journey towards Elephantine Island, a location of historical significance between Egypt and Nubia.

During the tour, an English-speaking guide will provide insights into the island's history, which was a key trading center for ivory. The tour will also include an external visit to the Khnun Temple, notable for its role in measuring Nile floods, and a scenic sail past the Aswan Botanical Garden, showcasing endemic flora.

We will then return to your hotel or cruise.

For those on West Aswan Island: pickup will be at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.For the island of Suhil: pickup will occur at the West Bank Ferry terminal.

If your accommodation in Aswan is not in the city center or the mentioned islands, please go to one of the designated meeting points.

Additional Info

If the Nile's currents are too strong, for safety, transfers may be conducted by motorboat instead of felucca.
