On this excursion, we'll visit the astonishing temples of Abu Simbel, the only monuments in Egypt that can hold a candle to the grandiosity of the three pyramids of Giza.

Description

The tour departs from Aswan at the specified time. Pickup will occur at your hotel or boat. An early morning departure is recommended to arrive at the temples before midday heat. Additionally, participants can enjoy sunrise in the desert during the trip.

After approximately 3 hours, we'll reach Abu Simbel, noted for its two rock-hewn temples, one dedicated to Ramses II and the other to Nefertari, his favorite wife. Constructed over 20 years under Ramses II, the temples were buried until the 19th century, which aided their preservation.

The guided tour will last about 2 hours, allowing for exploration of both temples and insight into their histories, including the circumstances surrounding their relocation.

After our visit, we will return to Aswan, completing the tour in roughly 9 hours.
