On this day trip, we'll visit the temples of Abu Simbel, notable monuments in Egypt alongside the pyramids of Giza.
Day Trip Details
The tour departs from Aswan at the designated time. Pickup will be arranged from your hotel or boat. Early morning departure is recommended to reach the temples before the midday heat, allowing you to experience the sunrise in the desert.
After 3 hours, we will arrive at Abu Simbel, featuring two rock-carved temples, one dedicated to Ramses II and the other to Nefertari, his wife. The complex was constructed over 20 years under Ramses II and is excellently preserved, having been buried beneath sand until the 19th century.
The guided tour will last approximately 1 hour, providing time to explore both temples and learn about their history and the relocation efforts undertaken with international support.
After our visit, we will return to Aswan, with arrival expected between 7 and 8 hours later.
