On this tour, we'll visit three different temples: the Roman-era Kalabasha, and the rock-carved mausoleums like Beit El-Wali from Ramses II's period.

Itinerary

We'll begin with a morning pickup from your boat or hotel, traveling south to the Aswan dam, located 20 kilometers (13 miles) from the city.

Our first stop is the Kalabsha temple, dedicated to Mandulis, the Nubian Sun God, built around 30 A.D., measuring 76 meters long and 22 meters wide, relocated due to the Aswan dam.

The second stop is Beit el-Wali, a small temple from Ramses II's time, excavated in rock and dedicated to Amon-Ra, featuring a patio decorated with scenes from Ramses II's military campaigns.

Our final visit is to the Kiosk of Qertassi, dedicated to Isis, with its main entrance adorned by columns featuring the head of Goddess Hathor. This temple was also relocated for the Aswan dam.

After the tour, we'll return you to your hotel or boat.
