Nubian Village Day Trip

Cross the River Nile on board a traditional felucca to discover the village of Gharb Soheil, where you can see the daily life of the Nubians.

Day Trip Details

After pickup from your hotel or boat, we will head to a small port to board the boat for a Nile cruise. Once we cross the Nile, you'll have the opportunity to swim and relax on a beach. The adventure continues on camelback to Gharb Soheil, known as the Nubian Village, which is historically significant and one of the oldest civilizations in Africa.

In the village, we'll explore the market and some houses to see behind their colorful façades. You can try local food and traditional teas, listen to music, and get a henna tattoo. After the visit, we will return via the same route, arriving at the departure point approximately 3 to 4 hours later.

Pickup Service

This activity includes pickup from hotels, hostels, and apartments in Aswan. However, if your lodging is in the following locations, we'll meet you at the specified meeting points:

Western Aswan Island (Ghard Aswan): pickup at the West Bank Ferry terminal.Elefantina Island (Guizirit Alfantin): pickup at the Kornish Al Nile KFC or the Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island (Guizirit Suhil): pickup at the West Bank Ferry terminal.

If your accommodation is outside the city center or the mentioned islands, we'll meet you at one of the listed meeting points.
