Meet at number 26 Athanasiou Diakou Street and depart for the Corinth Canal, where a short stop will be made to view this engineering marvel. While the city of Corinth will not be visited, its history will be discussed.
Next, travel to Epidaurus, the birthplace of Asclepius, son of Apollo. Follow an English-speaking guide to the Ancient Theatre, noted for its preservation and acoustics. You'll have free time to visit the Archaeological Museum, which details ancient medical practices associated with the Temple of Asclepius.
After the museum, continue to Mycenae, a significant center of Greek civilization. At the archaeological site, learn about the legendary Agamemnon and hear references from the Iliad and the Odyssey from your guide. Tour landmarks including the Lion’s Gate and the Tomb of Agamemnon before returning to Athens. Arrival at the meeting point is approximately 10 hours after pickup.
