Inaugurated in 1986, the Museum of Cycladic Art is a significant archaeological center in Athens, housing over 3,000 items from Greece, Cyprus, and the Cyclades, focusing on Cycladic Art from the 3rd millennium BC.

The permanent collection spans three floors, each dedicated to a theme:
Cycladic culture: features weapons, ceramics, figures, jugs, and other artifacts from the Aegean Sea's central islands during the Copper and Bronze Ages.Ancient Greek art: explores the origins and evolution of a vital civilization that laid the foundation for democracy.Cypriot art: showcases the history of various ancient communities that settled in Cyprus, a key location in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The museum's operating hours are as follows:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm.Thursday: 10 am to 8 pm.Sunday: 11 am to 5 pm.

The museum is closed on Tuesdays and also on Clean/Ash Monday, Easter Sunday and Monday, and Holy Spirit Monday. Dates for these closures vary each year, so it is advisable to verify in advance.
