Venture to Queensland’s northernmost tip to explore one of the most stunning locations in New Zealand on this full-day excursion to the Bay of Islands. A boating experience is also included in the itinerary.

Details of the Day Trip

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Auckland, followed by a scenic drive toward the Far North, the northernmost region of New Zealand.

After around 3.5 hours on the road, we will arrive at Paihia, the central town of the Bay of Islands. Are you excited to take in the beauty of this destination?

We'll embark on a boat to navigate the clear turquoise waters while exploring key highlights, including the famous Hole in the Rock. Keep an eye out for the playful dolphins that call this bay their home.

Moreover, an adventure in the Bay of Islands would not be whole without visiting one of its enchanting islands. Have you heard of Urupukapuka Island? We will pause for approximately 1 hour on this slice of paradise, allowing you to swim in the pristine waters and unwind on the sandy beach. For the more adventurous, there’s the option to climb to the summit, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the entire bay.

In conclusion, we will return to the boat and make our way back to the starting point, completing our 4.5-hour sailing experience.

Once we are back on solid ground, we will journey back to Auckland, where you will be returned to your hotel after an enriching 12-hour adventure.
