Embark on a journey to the far north of Queensland and immerse yourself in one of the most stunning locations in New Zealand during this excursion to the Bay of Islands. A scenic boat ride will also be part of this adventure.

Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Auckland as we travel by road towards Far North, the northernmost region of New Zealand.

After a journey of approximately 3.5 hours, we will arrive in the town of Paihia, the central hub of the Bay of Islands. Get ready to experience the beauty of this destination!

We will board a vessel and navigate the azure waters, aiming to discover remarkable sights, including the renowned Hole in the Rock. Keep your eyes peeled for the playful dolphins that call this bay their home.

Your experience wouldn't be complete without a visit to one of the islands. Have you ever heard of Urupukapuka Island? We’ll stop here for around an hour, allowing you to swim in the pristine waters and unwind on the sandy beach. For the more adventurous spirits, a climb to the summit provides breathtaking panoramic views of the bay.

Eventually, we will return to the boat to start our journey back to the docking area, concluding the cruise after enjoying 4.5 hours of sailing.

After returning to land, our ride will take us back to Auckland, where you will be dropped off at your hotel approximately 12 hours later.
