At the specified time, pickup will be from your accommodation in central Auckland. You will board a comfortable minibus for a journey across New Zealand's landscapes to Matamata, home of Hobbiton.
After a 2.5-hour drive, arrival is expected in the region of the Shire™. A guide specializing in The Lord of the Rings will lead you through the making of the film and reveal its background.
