Discover two of New Zealand's must-see places on this excursion to Wai-O-Tapu and Rotorua. We'll visit one of the country's most famous geothermal areas!

Wai-O-Tapu & Rotorua Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Auckland for a tour of Wai-O-Tapu & Rotorua.

We'll travel south through the Waikato countryside, one of the largest agricultural areas in the country. Along the way, we'll view rivers, mountains, and animals like cows, horses, and sheep, stopping for coffee and refreshments.

Next, we'll pass through Tirau, known as the Corrugated Iron Capital of the World, where you'll see sculptures and buildings made from this material.

Afterward, we'll visit the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, featuring attractions like Champagne Lake, Devil's Bath, mud pools, and craters, known for their distinct smell.

We'll then head to Rotorua for a sightseeing tour of main attractions, including Lake Rotorua, the Government Gardens, the Rotorua Museum, and Whangapipiro (Rachel Spring). You will have an hour of free time for lunch in a restaurant.

Finally, we'll meet and return to Auckland, concluding the tour at your hotel after 11 hours of activity.
