Wai-O-Tapu & Rotorua Excursion

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Auckland and embark on a tour of Wai-O-Tapu & Rotorua. We'll travel south through the Waikato countryside, observing rivers, mountains, and livestock. A coffee and refreshment stop will be included.

We will pass through Tirau, known as the Corrugated Iron Capital of the World, featuring numerous sculptures and buildings made of this material.

One of the highlights is the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland. Highlights include the Champagne Lake, Devil's Bath, mud pools, and craters. A distinct smell is associated with Wai-O-Tapu.

Next, we proceed to the city of Rotorua for a sightseeing tour of Lake Rotorua, Government Gardens, Rotorua Museum, and Whangapipiro (Rachel Spring). You will have one hour of free time for lunch at a restaurant.

The tour concludes with a return to Auckland, finishing at your hotel after approximately 11 hours of activity.
