Discover two of New Zealand's must-see places on this excursion to Wai-O-Tapu and Rotorua. We'll visit one of the country's most famous geothermal areas!

Wai-O-Tapu & Rotorua Excursion

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Auckland and embark on a tour of Wai-O-Tapu & Rotorua. We'll travel south through the Waikato countryside, where we will see rivers, mountains, and farm animals. A stop for coffee and refreshments will be included.

Next, we will pass through Tirau, known as the Corrugated Iron Capital of the World, where we will see various sculptures and buildings made from this material.

Our first highlight will be the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, where we will admire Champagne Lake, Devil's Bath, mud pools, and craters. Note that there may be a distinct smell in this area.

Afterward, we will proceed to Rotorua for a sightseeing tour, visiting key attractions such as Lake Rotorua, Government Gardens, Rotorua Museum, and Whangapipiro (Rachel Spring). You will then have one hour of free time for lunch at a restaurant.

Finally, we’ll return to Auckland, concluding the tour at your hotel after approximately 11 hours of activity.
