When booking, you can choose between 3 options. All start at Augsburg Airport with an English-speaking pilot.

45-Minute Flight

This option includes views of Munich's main attractions from the air, such as Allianz Arena, English Garden, German Museums, Marienplatz, Munich Cathedral, Munich Residenz, Nymphenburg Palace, BMW Welt museum, and Olympiapark. The flight then moves towards the Bavarian Alps, offering views of Starnberg, Ammer, Pilsen, and Wörth lakes, concluding at Andechs Abbey.

1 Hour and 15-Minute Flight

This option allows for additional flying time. After viewing the aforementioned attractions in Munich, the flight continues to the Upper Bavarian lakes: Würmtal, Stanberger, Oster, Rieg, Staffel, Kochel, Walchen, Eib, Forggen, Hopfen, Ammer, Pilsen, and Lake Wörth. The flight then explores the Bavarian Alps, including Herzogstand, Benediktenwand, Zugspitze, Garmisch, and Hohenpeißenberg, concluding with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle and Andechs Abbey.

1 Hour and 45-Minute Flight

This option sees all Upper Bavarian lakes plus the Alps, including Kampenwand, Wilder Kaiser, Wendelstein, Brauneck, Benediktenwand, and Zugspitze. You will also see historical sites such as Herrenchiemsee Castle, Fraueninsel Island, and both Neuschwanstein Castle and Andechs Abbey.

Schedule

The schedules of the plane rides are as follows:

45-minute flight: from October to April, Mondays to Fridays at 3 pm; from May to September, daily at 7:15 pm.1 hour and 15-minute flight: from October to April, Saturdays at 2 pm; from May to September, Sundays at 11:45 am and Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 5 pm.1 hour and 45-minute flight: from October to April, at 2 pm; from May to September, at 9 am, available only on Sundays.

What Are the Planes Like?

The flight will be on a Cessna T206H or similar aircraft for a maximum of 4 passengers plus the pilot.
