Tour Options

When booking, you can choose between 3 options. All of them start at Augsburg Airport and have an English-speaking pilot. You can see the details of each option below:

45-Minute Flight

In this option, we'll enjoy the main attractions of Munich from the air, including the Allianz Arena, the English Garden, the German Museums, Marienplatz, Munich Cathedral, Munich Residenz, and Nymphenburg Palace, as well as the BMW Welt museum and the Olympiapark. Afterwards, we'll head for the Bavarian Alps, observing the Starnberg, Ammer, Pilsen, and Wörth lakes, concluding with a flight over Andechs Abbey in Upper Bavaria.

1 Hour and 15-Minute Flight

This tour allows you to spend more time flying over Munich and the Bavarian Alps. After flying over the previously mentioned places in Munich, we'll visit the Upper Bavarian lakes including Würmtal, Stanberger, Oster, Rieg, Staffel, Kochel, Walchen, Eib, Forggen, Hopfen, Ammer, Pilsen, and Lake Wörth. Then, we will explore the Bavarian Alps, including Herzogstand, Benediktenwand, Zugspitze mountains, and the towns of Garmisch and Hohenpeißenberg. Finally, we'll fly over Neuschwanstein Castle and Andechs Abbey.

1 Hour and 45-Minute Flight

This option provides a comprehensive aerial view, including all lakes in Upper Bavaria, followed by a visit to the Alps to see Kampenwand, Wilder Kaiser, Wendelstein, Brauneck, Benediktenwand, and Zugspitze. We will also fly over significant historical sites such as Herrenchiemsee Castle, Fraueninsel Island, Neuschwanstein Castle, and Andechs Abbey.

Schedule

The schedules of the plane rides are as follows:

45-minute flight: from October to April, from Monday to Friday at 3 pm and from May to September, every day at 7:15 pm.1 hour and 15-minute flight: from October to April, Saturdays at 2 pm and from May to September, Sundays at 11.45 am and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 5 pm.1 hour and 45-minute flight: from October to April, at 2 pm and from May to September, at 9 am. This option only runs on Sundays.

What Are the Planes Like?

The flight will take place on board a TECNAM P2012 or similar aircraft for a maximum of 9 passengers plus the pilot.
