When booking, you can choose between 3 options, all departing from Augsburg Airport with an English-speaking pilot:

45-Minute Flight

This option includes aerial views of Munich attractions such as Allianz Arena, English Garden, German Museums, Marienplatz, Munich Cathedral, Munich Residenz, and Nymphenburg Palace, as well as the BMW Welt museum and Olympiapark. The flight concludes with views of Starnberg, Ammer, Pilsen, and Wörth lakes, ending at Andechs Abbey in Upper Bavaria.

1 Hour and 15-Minute Flight

This option extends flight time over Munich and the Bavarian Alps, including views of additional Upper Bavarian lakes: Würmtal, Stanberger, Oster, Rieg, Staffel, Kochel, Walchen, Eib, Forggen, Hopfen, Ammer, Pilsen, and Lake Wörth. You'll also see Herzogstand, Benediktenwand, Zugspitze mountains, Garmisch, Hohenpeißenberg, and Neuschwanstein Castle, concluding with Andechs Abbey.

1 Hour and 45-Minute Flight

This comprehensive option covers all details above and adds aerial views of all Upper Bavarian lakes, Kampenwand, Wilder Kaiser, Wendelstein, Brauneck, and Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze. Notable historical sites include Herrenchiemsee Castle, Fraueninsel Island, Neuschwanstein Castle, and Andechs Abbey.

Schedule

The schedules for the plane rides are:

45-minute flight: October to April, Monday to Friday at 3 pm; May to September, daily at 7:15 pm.1 hour and 15-minute flight: October to April, Saturdays at 2 pm; May to September, Sundays at 11:45 am, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 5 pm.1 hour and 45-minute flight: October to April at 2 pm; May to September at 9 am; only on Sundays.

What Are the Planes Like?

The flight will take place on a Cessna T206H or similar aircraft for a maximum of 4 passengers plus the pilot.
