Tour Overview of Atlanta

Your journey initiates with a pickup from your hotel at the scheduled time, where you will board a comfortable bus destined for the most significant locations in Atlanta. Over the course of three hours, a knowledgeable guide will accompany you, sharing fascinating insights regarding each landmark encountered.

The exploration commences on Peachtree Street, the pivotal thoroughfare of Atlanta and one of the city’s oldest. Progressing into the historic Fairlie-Poplar district, you will encounter the area's commercial and historical center, adorned with 19th-century architecture, including the famous Atlanta Flatiron. Note the distinctive architectural contrasts between the styles present in Atlanta compared to those of New York.

As we proceed downtown, a visit to the Mercedes Benz Stadium and the splendid Centennial Olympic Park awaits, along with glimpses of other major attractions such as Coca-Cola World, the Georgia Aquarium, and the CNN headquarters.

Venturing into midtown, we will explore the area featuring Margaret Mitchell's house (the author of Gone with the Wind), alongside the Fox Theater, Georgian Terrace, Ansley Park, and Piedmont Park, Atlanta’s version of Central Park.

Your journey will then take you to Tuxedo Park, the site of the Georgia governor's mansion, and the Swan House, a distinctive 1920s estate known for its appearances in various films, including The Hunger Games.

Next, we will traverse the Old Fourth Ward, an area deeply associated with the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Here, you can view his birthplace, church, and final resting place. As we reflect on social issues, a visit to The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is also included.

The tour culminates with a drive through the East Side, where you’ll see neighborhoods such as Cabbagetown, Inman Park, and Grant Park, known for its charming Victorian residences, providing a fitting conclusion to this remarkable adventure.

Upon completion of the tour, you will be returned to your respective hotels in Atlanta.
