Hungry in Austin? No problem! We'll meet at 2:45 pm at 111 Congress Avenue, next to the Fareground Restaurant entrance.

The food tour will start here with a tasting that combines American BBQ sauce with Mexican roots. We'll try a Texas-style BBQ brisket served with pinto beans and green chili, enjoying this fusion of cultures.

We'll continue along the theatre avenue and admire its beautiful Art Deco architecture. The tour will head to Congress Avenue, where we'll learn about the protected historic buildings. There will be another stop to sample chicken tamales, a dish consumed in this area of North America since 5000 BC.

The next stop will be at a restaurant belonging to one of the city's famous chefs, where we'll try a slice of the renowned Austin Weird: a pizza that incorporates various tastes. To finish, we'll treat ourselves to a special secret dish.

The tour will end at 5:45 pm around Congress Street, near the Texas State Capitol. Here we'll taste one of Austin's most famous sweets, the perfect ending to this gastronomic tour!
