Hungry in Austin? No problem! We'll meet at 2:45 pm at 111 Congress Avenue, next to the Fareground Restaurant entrance.

The food tour will start here with a tasting that combines American BBQ sauce with Mexican roots. We'll try a Texas-style BBQ brisket with pinto beans and green chili.

We'll continue along the theatre avenue, admiring its Art Deco architecture, before heading to Congress Avenue to learn about the protected historic buildings. There will be a stop to sample chicken tamale, a dish consumed in this area since 5000 BC.

The next stop will be at a restaurant owned by one of the city’s renowned chefs, where we’ll try a slice of pizza that brings together a variety of differing tastes. To finish, we'll enjoy a special secret dish.

The tour will end at 5:45 pm around Congress Street, near the Texas State Capitol. Here we'll taste one of Austin's most famous sweets, marking the perfect ending to this gastronomic tour!
