On this guided tour of Austin, we'll explore the history and the emblematic alleys and monuments of Texas's capital.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet in front of Jo's Coffee. From there, we will begin our guided tour of Austin, walking through the historic centre of the city.

During the walk along Congress Avenue, you will approach one of the city's main landmarks, the Texas Capitol. Before reaching this significant structure, we will stop at the historic Speakeasy bar. In front of the bar, we will present some before and after images of the area.

Continuing along the avenue, we will arrive at the Capitol, which is bigger than the Capitol in Washington DC. This structure was built in 1888 in neo-Renaissance style.

After admiring the monument, we will also stop by the Moody Theatre, a live music venue that hosts around 100 concerts a year and has a capacity for 2750 people. If you stay in Austin, visiting it is recommended.

The tour lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes to one hour and a half, concluding at the starting point.
