On this guided tour of Austin, we'll explore the history and emblematic alleys and monuments of Texas' capital.

Description

We will meet at the specified time in front of Jo's Coffee to start this guided tour of Austin in the historic centre of the city.

Our journey will take us along Congress Avenue, leading to the important landmark, the Texas Capitol.

Before reaching the Capitol, we will pass the historic Speakeasy bar, where we'll present before and after images of this area of Austin.

Continuing along Congress Avenue, we will arrive at the Capitol, which is noteworthy for being bigger than the Capitol in Washington DC. This building was completed in 1888 and showcases neo-Renaissance style.

We will also stop to view the Moody Theatre, a modern live music venue hosting an average of 100 concerts annually, with a capacity for 2750 people. It is highly recommended to visit if you spend additional time in Austin.

The tour lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes to one hour and thirty minutes, concluding at the original meeting point.
