Try two of Austin's culinary highlights with this Texas Hill Country Wine Tasting + BBQ. We'll take you to two wineries and visit one of the most famous restaurants in Texas.

Texas Hill Country Wine Tasting + BBQ

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 103 E. 5th Street. On board a minibus, we'll leave the capital of Texas and start touring the Texas Hill Country, an area in the southeast of the Edwards Plateau famous for its high hills and extensive vineyards.

The route will take us to The Salt Lick restaurant, one of the most famous barbecue chains in Texas. Here, you'll have 1 hour and a half of free time to sample their dishes, including seasoned and tender ribs, sausages, and turkey legs.

After dining, we'll reconvene at the minibus. Texas is not only known for its barbecue but also for its wines, as the Texas Hill Country is the third largest wine-growing region in the United States.

We'll make two stops at different wineries where you can tour the vineyards and learn about their wines. Tasting is available if you choose to sample the offerings.

After 4 and a half hours of sightseeing, we'll finish the tour at the starting point.
