Cappadocia 2 Day Exploration

Day 1: Northern Cappadocia Exploration

Your adventure begins at a pre-arranged meeting point, where we will set off to discover the northern part of Cappadocia. Our first destination is the Devrent Valley, famous for its extraordinary rock formations that stand out in the landscape.

Next, we will visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, where you can marvel at chapels and churches intricately carved into the rocks, accompanied by fascinating tales and insights about this historical site.

Continuing our journey, we will explore the unique architecture of the troglodyte village of Uçhisar and take in the views from Uçhisar Castle, providing a vantage point to admire the renowned Fairy Chimneys.

Throughout the tour, there will be opportunities to stop at local workshops, giving you a chance to experience Turkey's rich traditional craftsmanship. You will witness the art of carpet weaving and learn about the processing of onyx stones.

Another highlight will be the visit to Pasabag, also known as the Valley of the Monks. The day will culminate with an exhilarating jeep ride through the enchanting valleys of Cappadocia as the sun sets, ensuring a memorable conclusion to your first day.

After a full day of exploration, we will return to your accommodation following eight hours of exciting discovery.

Day 2: Southern Cappadocia Exploration

On the second day, we will shift our focus to the southern area of Cappadocia. Our first stop features the picturesque Pink and Red Valleys, where we will embark on a hiking trail to uncover the quaint villages nestled within this stunning landscape.

The village of Çavusin awaits us next, characterized by its labyrinth of stone houses interspersed among the rock formations. After immersing ourselves in the local history, we will proceed to the underground village of Kaymakli, a fascinating city that was carved from stone as a refuge from past invasions.

Before concluding our journey, we will visit a renowned pottery center in Avanos. This town is celebrated for its traditional pottery, offering an opportunity to learn about this craft.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel after six engaging hours spent exploring the captivating region.
