During this ceramic workshop, participants will have the opportunity to craft and embellish a traditional pottery item from Cappadocia while immersing themselves in the rich Turkish culture in an enjoyable and interactive manner!

Ceramics Experience in Cappadocia

At the scheduled time, we'll gather at the specified ceramics studio.

Pottery has long been a defining feature of the cultural heritage of this area. Fascinatingly, the origins of this art form can be traced back to 2000 BC.

We will explore the significance of Turkish ceramics before pausing to take in the breathtaking scenery of the Cappadocia valley!

Following this, we will proceed to a ceramics studio, where an expert artisan will provide a live demonstration showcasing the creation of a clay piece using time-honored methods.

Once the demonstration concludes, you'll have the chance to replicate this process and craft your own ceramic piece, applying your creativity to personalize it. Engage with the clay and enjoy shaping plates, pots, and various other items on the potter's wheel!

The workshop will wrap up after an engaging 30-minute session.
