Northern Cappadocia Tour Details
At the indicated time, you'll be picked up from your chosen meeting point to discover the magic of northern Cappadocia, also known as the red tour. Your first stop will be in the Devrent Valley, where you can view spectacular rock formations including shapes resembling the kissing birds and the Virgin Mary.
The tour continues to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, home to many ancient churches, chapels, and monasteries with well-preserved frescoes of Biblical scenes.
Next, visit the troglodyte settlement of Uçhisar, featuring underground homes and the Uçhisar Castle, offering views of the famous fairy chimneys. The tour proceeds to Pasabag, known as the Valley of Monks, where you can learn about these geological formations.
Depending on availability, there's also time in the morning or afternoon to visit handicraft workshops selling carpets, silver, and semiprecious stones.
The tour concludes with drop-off at your chosen meeting point after a total of 6 hours.
