Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the tourist office in Avignon at the indicated time to board a minibus for our journey through Provence.

Our first stop will be Roussillon, known for its ochre-colored houses. We'll walk through this village and admire the ochre cliffs, including Le Sentier des Ocres. If you join the trip on a Thursday, we'll visit the traditional market.

Next, the tour continues to Gordes for a brief photo stop, then we will travel inland towards Fontaine de Vaucluse. Here, you'll have free time to dine at a local restaurant.

Our journey proceeds to the center of Saint Rémy, known for its landscapes and architecture, which inspired paintings by Vincent Van Gogh.

After, we'll stop at Les Baux de Provence, offering about an hour of free time to explore this medieval fortress independently.

We will then head to the iconic Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct from the first century, learning about its conservation and significance to nearby villages.

Finally, we'll return to Avignon, completing a 10.5-hour day trip.
