Description
The tour of Provence begins at 41 Cours Jean Jaurès in Avignon. The first destination is Châteauneuf du Pape, where participants will explore two wineries, with selections based on availability and season. Wine tastings will reflect the region's renowned offerings. Lunch can be purchased at the second winery if desired.
Next, the tour proceeds to Roussillon, a member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, allowing free time to appreciate its viewpoints. The itinerary includes a stop at the historic Pont Julien, an ancient Roman bridge, offering a great photo opportunity. The tour then visits Lacoste to view the exterior of the Marquis de Sade's castle.
The final stop is in Gordes, where participants can take pictures of the medieval village. After a day of exploration, the tour concludes with a return to Avignon, arriving approximately 10 hours after the pickup.
