Ávila Tuk Tuk Tour

Explore Ávila in a comfortable way aboard a tuk tuk that will take you to its main monuments. We'll see the church of Santa Teresa, the Cathedral and, of course, the famous city walls!

Tour Description

We'll meet at the time of your choice at San Segundo street, near the cathedral of Ávila. Are you ready to tour this World Heritage city by tuk tuk?

During the route, we'll see important historical buildings and make short stops to take pictures. You'll have recorded commentary in English to learn fun facts and legends of the places we pass through.

We'll drive around the old town, passing the Plaza de Santa Teresa, Torreón de los Guzmanes, and the convent of Santa Teresa until we reach the Los Cuatro Postes shrine. Here, we'll hop out to admire this 1566 monument, which offers an incredible panoramic view of the walls of Ávila.

Afterwards, we'll continue passing by the hermitage of San Segundo, Arco del Carmen, basilica of San Vicente, and more, concluding the tour by returning to the starting point after 35 minutes of sightseeing.

1-Hour Tour

If you would like to extend your tour, you can book the 1-hour tour. This includes visiting the Basílica de la Santa, the old birthplace of Saint Teresa, Lienzo Norte de la Muralla Viewpoint, and the monastery of the Encarnación.

We'll visit the courtyard of the old house of Saint Teresa, the room where she was born, and see her relics, including the famous uncorrupted finger of the saint.
