Ávila Tuk Tuk Tour

Explore Ávila in a comfortable way aboard a tuk tuk that will take you to its main monuments. We'll see the church of Santa Teresa, the Cathedral, and the famous city walls!

Tour Description

We'll meet at the time of your choice at San Segundo street, close to the cathedral of Ávila. During the route, we'll see important historical buildings and make short stops to take pictures. You’ll have recorded commentary in English to learn fun facts and legends of the places we pass through.

We'll drive around the old town, passing the Plaza de Santa Teresa, the Torreón de los Guzmanes, and the convent of Santa Teresa until we reach the Los Cuatro Postes shrine, where we’ll hop out to admire the monument from 1566, offering an incredible panoramic view of the walls of Ávila.

Afterwards, we'll continue passing by the hermitage of San Segundo, the Arco del Carmen, the basilica of San Vicente, and more. We'll finish the tour by returning to the starting point after 35 minutes of sightseeing.

1-Hour Tour

To extend your tour, you can book the 1-hour tour. This includes all previously mentioned sites plus visits to the Basílica de la Santa, the old birthplace of Saint Teresa, the Lienzo Norte de la Muralla Viewpoint, and the monastery of the Encarnación. We’ll visit the courtyard of the old house of Saint Teresa and see her relics, including the uncorrupted finger of the saint.
