Tour Description

We'll meet at the time of your choice at San Segundo street, close to the cathedral of Ávila. Ready to tour this World Heritage city by tuk tuk?

During the route, we'll see important historical buildings and make short stops for pictures. You'll have recorded commentary in English to learn fun facts and legends along the way.

We'll drive around the old town, passing the Plaza de Santa Teresa, Torreón de los Guzmanes and the convent of Santa Teresa until we reach the Los Cuatro Postes shrine. Here, we'll leave the vehicle to enjoy the panoramic view of the walls of Ávila.

Afterwards, we'll continue our journey past the hermitage of San Segundo, Arco del Carmen, and basilica of San Vicente, among others.

We’ll conclude the tour by returning to the starting point after 35 minutes of sightseeing.

For an extended experience, you can book the 1-hour tour. In addition to the previous sites, we'll visit the Basílica de la Santa, the old birthplace of Saint Teresa, the Lienzo Norte de la Muralla Viewpoint, and the monastery of the Encarnación.

This includes visiting the courtyard of Saint Teresa's old house, the room where she was born, and seeing her relics, including the uncorrupted finger of the saint.
