Cangallo Falls Hiking Tour
At 7:50 am, we'll meet at the Plaza de Armas and head south towards the waterfalls of Cangallo. We will take the "Route of the Cangallo Falls", known for its legendary significance where rituals were performed by the Indians. The waters are believed to have magical properties.
The tour begins with a hiking route to the Pumapaqcha waterfall, with a total round-trip time of about 40 minutes. Following this, we will proceed to the Batán and Qorimaqma waterfalls, created by the Chankil and Macromayo rivers, which will take approximately 1.5 hours.
After the hikes, a bus will take us to the Huahuapuquio pool for a chance to bathe in its mineral-rich thermal waters. You will have free time for lunch at the pool's restaurant.
Finally, we will return to Ayacucho with a brief stop in the town of Cangallo, known as the "City of Heroes and Heroines". We expect to arrive back at the meeting point in Ayacucho around 8 pm.
