Cangallo Falls Hiking Tour
At 7:50 am, we'll meet at the Plaza de Armas and head south towards the waterfalls of Cangallo. We will take the "Route of the Cangallo Falls", an area where ritual offerings to the gods were practiced by the Indians, believed to possess magical properties and positive energies.
The experience begins with a hiking route to the Pumapaqcha waterfall, which takes about 40 minutes round trip. Next, we will visit the Batán and Qorimaqma waterfalls, deriving from the Chankil and Macromayo rivers, which will take around 1.5 hours.
Afterward, a bus will take us to the Huahuapuquio pool for a refreshing bath in the mineral-rich thermal waters. Free time for lunch is available since there is a restaurant at the pool.
Finally, we will return to Ayacucho, with a brief stop in the town of Cangallo, known as the "City of Heroes and Heroines". We expect to arrive back at the meeting point in Ayacucho around 8 pm.
