Tour to Pachapupum Volcano

We'll meet at the Plaza de Armas at 6 am, where the bus will take us to Sacsamarca, a cattle district south of Ayacucho. The road trip lasts 4-5 hours, with a stop in Condorccocha for breakfast and another stop in Huanca Sancos for those who need to buy lunch.

Upon arrival at the Pachapupum volcano, we will hike to the top using natural steps formed by erosion. At the summit, you can view the crater, measuring 10 meters in diameter, with boiling water due to geothermal heat.

There are also small wells around the crater, rich in minerals like salt and sulfur. You will have the opportunity to bathe in these hot springs, so bring your swimsuit. Afterward, you can enjoy the lunch you brought. We will then return by bus to Ayacucho, arriving at the initial departure point around 8 pm.
