This ticket allows you to visit the Azay-le-Rideau castle, a notable fortress situated on an island in the Indre River, recognized as part of the Loire Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can explore various rooms, such as the Biencourt Room, featuring 18th and 19th-century decor, and Philippe Lesbahy's bedroom, associated with the castle's first owner from the 16th century. The castle's façade and its reflection in the water are remarkable features.

The castle is open during the following times:
From September 1 to September 30: 9:30 am to 6 pmFrom October 1 to March 31: 10 am to 5:15 pmFrom April 1 to June 30: 9:30 am to 6 pmFrom July 1 to August 31: 9:30 am to 7 pm
On December 24 and December 31, the closing time is 4 pm. The last admission is one hour before closing.

Admission to the castle is free for:
Youth from the European Union aged 18 to 25Children under 18, regardless of nationality
Additionally, free admission is available on the first Sunday of each month from January to March and from November to December, as well as on the third weekend of September. To obtain free admission, visit the site’s ticket office with a valid document confirming eligibility.
