Lake Bacalar Sailboat Cruise
We'll meet at the time of your choice at the dock on Avenida 5. There we'll board a sailboat and begin a journey through Lake Bacalar, also known as the Lake of the Seven Colors.
During the tour, we'll visit Cenote Negro, which has a diameter of 427 ft (130 m) and a depth ranging from about 5 ft (1.5 m) to nearly 328 ft (100 m). This area is noted for its sandy surroundings. It is also known as Cenote de la Bruja, or the Witch Cenote.
We'll pass by Islas Cocos, Isla de los Pájaros, and Canal de los Piratas, surrounded by lush vegetation. On board the sailboat, you can enjoy guacamole along with water and beer.
We will explore the mangrove area, observing three varieties: red, white, and button mangroves. These forests serve as refuge for various animals, including hawks.
After a total of 4 hours of sailing, we'll return to the starting point, where the activity will conclude.
