Baena Guided Tour
We will meet at the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe at the selected time for our guided tour. The tour includes insights into why Guadalupe is the patron saint of the city.
We will walk through the center of Baena, reaching Plaza de España, the oldest square in the city. The tour continues along Calle Amador de los Ríos, past San Bartolomé Church, and along Calle Mesones until we arrive at Plaza de la Constitución.
We will stop at Baena's Historical and Archaeological Museum for a guided tour, exploring the history of Baena from prehistoric times to the Contemporary Age.
For those interested in Arabic history, we will visit Alamedina, the highest part of the city, learning about its historical significance during the Caliphate of Cordoba.
The guided tour concludes at the Castle of Baena, where we will discuss its origins and current state before concluding our visit.
