Activity Details
Guests will meet at a strategic point in Uvita or at the entrance of the Marino Ballena National Park, depending on preference. The trip will begin from a nearby dock, featuring a cruise along the western coast of Costa Rica.
During the sail, participants can expect to see various whales and dolphins, along with different species of sea turtles inhabiting the area. The journey includes a visit to Isla Ballena, where guests can snorkel and swim in the open sea.
After swimming, the tour will continue to a new point in the marine park, which will be determined by weather conditions. The total duration of the boat trip will be between 3 and 3.5 hours before returning to the starting point.

Whale & Dolphin Watching
The Uvita coast is an excellent location for observing cetaceans. However, animal sightings are unpredictable and can be influenced by weather and breeding seasons, particularly from December to April and July to October.
Rainy Season
Please note that whales are also present from July to October, considered the rainy season in the region, which may affect visibility and activities like swimming or snorkelling.
