In this whale watching activity in the Marino Ballena National Park, we'll sail along the coast of Uvita, a prime location in Costa Rica for spotting dolphins and whales.
Activity Details
Meeting at 8:30 am at the entrance of the Marino Ballena National Park in Uvita, we'll proceed to a nearby dock for an unforgettable cruise along the western coast of Costa Rica. During the sailing, we'll observe various species of whales and dolphins in their natural habitat, along with different kinds of sea turtles inhabiting this ecosystem.
Our journey includes a stop at Isla Ballena for 45 minutes of snorkeling and swimming in the open sea. Afterward, we will continue to the sea caves of Ventana Beach, where you'll have opportunities to capture photographs of stunning stone arches shaped by the sea.
The boat ride concludes at 12 pm as we return to the starting point.
Whale & Dolphin Watching
The coast of Uvita is ideal for observing whales and dolphins. However, sightings are unpredictable and may vary based on weather and the breeding seasons of different species, particularly between December to April and July to October.
