If you're passionate about colonial architecture and want to experience Mexican culture, this excursion to San Sebastián del Oeste is essential.
San Sebastian del Oeste Tour
We will meet at Paseo de las Palmas in Nuevo Vallarta at the designated time and board a bus to depart Riviera Nayarit, heading into the Sierra Madre.
San Sebastián del Oeste, located amidst misty mountains, is a designated Magical Town of Jalisco. This town, colonized by miners in the 17th century, retains many original buildings. As we walk along its cobblestone streets, we will explore the town square and its 18th-century church, significant sites from the town's history.
We will visit a silversmith's workshop to learn about the age-old craft that supported the town's economy after the establishment of silver mines. Additionally, we will tour an organic coffee farm, recognized as another traditional product of Jalisco.
The tour includes a tequila and raicilla tasting, as well as a visit to a hacienda for a traditional Mexican lunch in its avocado grove courtyard, all while enjoying scenic views of San Sebastián del Oeste.
Finally, we will return to Riviera Nayarit and conclude the tour at the original meeting point after 8 hours of activities.
