Bahía Solano Waterfalls Hiking Tour

Join us for a captivating hike to the waterfalls near Bahia Solano, a charming town nestled along the Colombian Pacific, where two stunning waterfalls await your exploration.

Description

We'll convene at Carrera 2 in Bahía Solano, located within the vibrant tourist area of Ciudad Mutis, at the designated time. Our journey begins as we travel by road to the airport.

After a 15-minute ride, we'll reach the trailhead near the airport, marking the start of our 1.5-kilometer (0.9-mile) hike. This easy hike through the Chocoa jungle leads us to the Salto del Aeropuerto. Here, we will have a 45-minute break to swim and snorkel in its natural pool, which has a depth of 7 meters (23 feet).

After swimming, we'll retrace our steps back to the airport, where our vehicle will take us back to Bahia Solano. At this point, you will have two hours for a satisfying lunch.

After lunch, we will reconvene for the second part of our adventure, starting another easy 2-kilometer (1.25-mile) hike to the Chocolatal Waterfall. You will have an hour here to swim, relax, and snorkel.

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Bahia Solano, completing the tour a total of six hours after we began.
