Mount St. Helens Day Trip

At 7:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Seattle and depart southbound towards Mount St. Helens. Our journey to the Mount St. Helens National Monument will take around 3 hours. During the drive, we will stop for breakfast at either the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge or the Lewis & Clark State Park.

Upon arrival, we will take a short hike to explore the area along the banks of the Toutle River, observing the scenery shaped by the volcanic eruption of 1980.

At 1:30 pm, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch while taking in the views of Mount St. Helens. After lunch, we will visit the Johnston Ridge Visitors Centre to appreciate the scale of this active stratovolcano.

We will then return to your hotel in Seattle, concluding the day trip at 7:30 pm.
