1 or 2-Hour Tourist Boat
The Seattle tour boat departs from Pier 55 in Elliott Bay, which is the fifth stop on the bus route. Enjoy a choice of a 1-hour or 2-hour excursion based on your preference. The one-hour journey offers spectacular views of the Cascade Range, the largest mountain range in the American West, showcasing the stunning Olympic Mountains and the city skyline.
For the extended 2-hour experience, the route includes a passage through the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, which facilitate the navigation of boats between Lake Washington's freshwater and the salinity of Puget Sound. Note that this option concludes at 1200 Westlake Ave N, rather than returning to Pier 55.
How It Works
Your ticket remains valid for either 24 or 48 consecutive hours from the moment of first use. For instance, if a 48-hour ticket is activated on a Monday at 3 PM, it will remain valid until Wednesday at 3 PM.
During this timeframe, you can board and exit the bus as many times as you wish, enabling the exploration of Seattle's key locations.
While booking, you'll be asked to select a start date; however, the service can be utilized within three months from that selected date.
To schedule your boat trip, you will need to exchange your bus ticket at any stop, where a member of the local staff will validate your ticket. This representative will help you secure a date and time for your boat experience, allowing you to use your ticket for the boat within 5 days of the exchange.
