Boat to Ons Island
At the indicated time we'll set sail by ferry from the port of Baiona towards the National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. The journey will include a view of the Cíes Islands and its famous Rodas beach. The crossing takes around an hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival, you will have the rest of the day free to enjoy the island's natural environment, have lunch, relax on the beaches, or explore one of its four hiking trails.
Authorization to visit Ons Island
The island of Ons has a daily quota of visitors, and you must have authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to travel there. During high season (from May 15 to September 15 and during Holy Week), you must bring your own authorization, which will be emailed to you. In the off-season, the guide will provide it. If you cannot attend, you must notify at least 15 days in advance with the name of the individual who will not attend.
Ons Island Guided Visit
From October 1 to May 14 (except from the Friday before Holy Week until Resurrection Sunday), the ferry ticket includes a 1-hour guided visit around Ons Island.
Return Schedule
The ferry will return from Ons Island at 6 pm. Your ticket allows you to travel to and from Ons Island on the same day. For a return on a different day, please contact us.
