You will be picked up from your hotel in Baku at the scheduled time and head to the first stop: the Azerbaijan National History Museum, situated in one of the greenest areas of the capital. This is the largest museum in the country and is housed in the Zaynaladbdin Taghiyev Palace, which was established in 1920 and opened to the public the following year.

Upon entering this Italian Renaissance-style building, designed by Polish architect Józef Goslawski, the guided tour will commence, allowing you to admire the key elements, including exhibitions on ancient and medieval history.

After the museum visit, take a pleasant 15-minute walk to the Carpet Museum, one of the most visited places in Baku. The exterior of this building is impressive, designed to resemble a roll of carpet. It’s a unique architectural sight!

Inside, you’ll find the permanent exhibition, showcasing over 10,000 ceramic objects, 14th-century works, jewellery from the Bronze Age, traditional outfits and, importantly, carpets sewn between the 17th and 20th centuries.

The tour will conclude with your return to the hotel, approximately 4 hours after the pick-up.
