Baku Museums Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Baku at the indicated time and proceed to the Azerbaijan National History Museum, situated in one of the greenest areas of the capital. This is the largest museum in the country, housed in the Zaynaladbdin Taghiyev Palace, founded in 1920 and opened to the public in 1921.
We will enter this Italian Renaissance-style building, designed by Polish architect Józef Goslawski, and begin our guided tour, focusing on significant exhibitions, including those on ancient and medieval history.
Afterward, we will take a 15-minute walk to the Carpet Museum, one of the most visited sites in Baku. The design of the building resembles a roll of carpet, providing a unique visual experience.
Inside, we can explore the permanent exhibition featuring over 10,000 ceramic objects, 14th-century works, Bronze Age jewelry, traditional outfits, and carpets created between the 17th and 20th centuries.
We will conclude the tour by returning you to your hotel 4 hours after the pick-up.
