Baku Museums Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Baku at the indicated time and head to the first stop: the Azerbaijan National History Museum, located in one of the greenest areas in the capital. This is the largest museum in the country and is located in the Zaynaladbdin Taghiyev Palace, which was founded in 1920 and opened to the public the following year.
We'll enter this Italian Renaissance-style building, designed by Polish architect Józef Goslawski, and start our guided tour, admiring the main elements, including exhibitions on ancient and medieval history.
Next, we'll take a 15-minute walk to the Carpet Museum, one of the most visited places in Baku. The exterior of this building resembles a roll of carpet, creating a unique visual impression.
Inside, we will explore its permanent exhibition, which houses over 10,000 ceramic objects, 14th-century works, jewellery from the Bronze Age, traditional outfits, and carpets sewn between the 17th and 20th centuries.
We'll return you to your hotel 4 hours after pick-up, concluding the tour.
