Private Sheki 2 Day Tour

Visit a captivating city on the Silk Road with this 2-day private tour of Sheki. Enjoy a unique experience sleeping in a traditional caravanserai.

Tour Details

Day 1

After meeting at the Baku City's Tour Office, we will depart for Sheki. The first stop will be Shamakhi to visit the Juma Mosque, an 8th-century temple. Next, we will continue to Lake Nohur for an hour of free time in this natural setting. We will then head to Sheki at 2:30 pm to enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani dish: piti.

After lunch, we will explore the Palace of the Kanes, known for its intricate tiles and decorations. Later, we will stay overnight at a traditional Caravanserai, historically significant as accommodation along the Silk Road.

Day 2

We will depart the Caravanserai at 10 am to visit Kish, where we will see a 12th-century Albanian church and a local silk factory. Following this, we will travel back to Baku, making a stop in Gabala for lunch on your own (not included).

We will return to the meeting point in Baku around 8 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes one night's accommodation in an 18th-century Caravanserai, declared a historical monument. Rooms are available as single, double, or triple, each with private bathrooms.
