Blumenau & Pomerode Excursion

Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup scheduled between 8 and 9 am, followed by a scenic drive along the Itajaí-Açu River. During the journey, we will pass through the charming towns of Ilhota and Gaspar.

The first destination is the picturesque city of Blumenau, established by German settlers, who brought along their rich traditions. The city is best known for its Oktoberfest, one of the largest German celebrations in Brazil, inspired by Munich’s famed festival.

In the heart of Blumenau, we will stop at the iconic City Hall, a former train station, as well as the stunning Cathedral of St. Paul the Apostle. Visitors can also explore the Beer Museum and the Beer Garden, which showcase a variety of antique artifacts highlighting the brewing culture and its significance in this European valley.

Next, we will enter the well-known Vila Germânica, a vibrant park that hosts events such as Oktoberfest. This area captivates with its traditional German architecture, featuring numerous craft shops, restaurants, and more. Here, you’ll have time to enjoy lunch at your leisure before we continue the journey.

After refueling, we will hop back on the bus to head towards Pomerode, another charming town rooted in German tradition. We will arrive through the Portal Wolfgang Weege, a noteworthy gateway that has become a popular photo spot.

Upon entering the town, visitors will have the opportunity to check out a typical porcelain store, a local craft brewery, and visit the zoo, where you can encounter a variety of animals such as lions, hippos, giraffes, and wolves. Our final stop will be at Vila Encantada, where we can delve into a fascinating prehistoric world filled with dinosaurs.

The excursion concludes as we return to the hotels for drop-off.

Access to the Attractions

Vila Encantada operates from Tuesday to Sunday. If you plan your visit on a Monday, you can enjoy additional time at the other attractions.The tour fee does not cover the entrance to Vila Encantada. On the day of your visit, anticipate a fee of approximately 6.60 EUR for adult tickets and 5.50 EUR for children under 12 years, students, and seniors over 60.Additionally, an entrance ticket to Pomerode Zoo must be purchased on the day of the tour, costing around 8 EUR for adults, with reduced prices of approximately 4 EUR for children under 14, students, and seniors over 60.

Pickup

Pickup and return transfers are included for hotels located in central Balneario Camboriú. For accommodations outside this area, a separate meeting point will need to be arranged.
