Cañadon de las Ostras and El Sotano Trip

We will meet at a time of your choosing in Las Grutas and head to Villa de los Pulperos in an all-terrain truck. This location in Argentinean Patagonia is known for capturing the smallest octopus in the world.

Continuing along the coast of Rio Negro, we will arrive at Piedras Coloradas beach for sandboarding on the dunes, an unforgettable experience. After this activity, we will proceed along the pulperos route.

The next stop will be on the coast of El Sótano, which features the highest tidal flow in Argentina, where you will learn about this phenomenon. We will then head south to Cañadón de las Ostras, a colossal rock wall where we will observe marine fossils that are over 20 million years old.

In this Patagonian area, we will raise a farewell toast and enjoy an Argentinean picada, which includes various kinds of cheeses and creole sausages, marking the end of our adventure.

After regaining our strength, we will return to Las Grutas, arriving four hours after our departure.
