Ganga Aarti & Sunrise Boat Trip
After meeting your guide in front of the Kashi Café in Varanasi in the early hours of the morning, you'll head to the riverside ghats, where holy purification rituals are performed.
You'll witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Ganges and the Aarti ceremony, performed in honour of the river, known as the Goddess Ganga, considered one of the holiest rivers in Hinduism.
The Ganga Aarti is conducted by seven Hindu priests, who light lamps and incense and chant hymns as part of the ritual.
Subsequently, you will board a boat for a tour of approximately one hour on the river Ganges, where the first rays of sunlight will illuminate the city. Your guide will share insights about Varanasi and its spiritual significance during the journey.
The boat trip concludes at Assi Ghat at 7 am.
