After meeting your guide in front of the Kashi Café in Varanasi in the early hours of the morning, you'll head to the riverside ghats, where holy purification rituals are performed.

As you watch the spectacular sunrise over the waters of the Ganges, you'll witness the Aarti ceremony, a ritual performed in honour of the river, known as the Goddess Ganga, according to Hinduism.

Ganga Aarti is performed by seven Hindu priests, who light lamps and incense and chant hymns as part of the ritual.

You'll then board a boat for a tour of approximately one hour on the river Ganges. Throughout this journey, you'll watch the first rays of sunlight illuminate the city while your expert guide shares fascinating facts about Varanasi and its spirituality.

The boat trip will end at Assi Ghat at 7 am.
