Review the itineraries for our various tours detailed below:

Bariay National Monument Excursion (8 hours)

The Bariay National Monument Park commemorates Christopher Columbus's landing in Cuba, marking the first point of arrival for the ships La Pinta, La Niña, and La Santa María. Within Bariay Park, we will encounter artworks created by Cuba's indigenous communities alongside neoclassical architectural remnants that exemplify the fusion of native and European cultures. Close by, a replica of the 15th-century indigenous dwellings provides insight into historical lifestyles.

Next, we will visit a local residence to savor some Cuban coffee and refreshing coconut water. Following this, enjoy a 45-minute journey by horseback, carriage, or on foot through the mangroves, coconut groves, and the enchanting Bariay Bay. To conclude the day, unwind with a revitalizing swim in the ocean. This excursion shares a similar route with our group Bariay National Monument Escapade.

Holguin Exploration (6 hours)

We will commence our tour at the breathtaking Mirador de Mayabe viewpoint, where sweeping vistas of the Cuban landscape await. During our exploration of Holguin, you will gain insights into Cuba's historical journey through the Origins mural reliefs. Our next stop is the Cathedral of San Isidoro, a colonial-era structure, followed by a visit to the local bustling market square.

The itinerary continues at Plaza Calixto García Íñiguez, where discussions on the Cuban Independence movement will ensue, leading to the La Periquera Museum. Here, you'll delve into pivotal events in Cuban history and learn about the Mambises. Subsequently, a visit to the San José church, the oldest in the region, will showcase its architectural significance.

Our day will culminate with a trek up to Loma de la Cruz, a viewpoint that promises panoramic vistas of Holguin. This journey follows a path akin to our group Holguin Exploratory Trip.

Gibara Exploration (8 hours)

In the charming, whitewashed village of Gibara, we will admire the historic Batería Fernando VII Fortress, perched atop the Punta de Yarey promontory, a defining symbol of the area established in 1817. Next, our visit to the Museum of Natural History will reveal intriguing local facts along with exhibits featuring the skeletons of a sperm whale and another whale, an enlightening experience!

Following this, we’ll take in the best views of Gibara from a scenic lookout before venturing to the enigmatic Cueva de los Panaderos, known as the Bakers' Cave.

Before concluding our day, we will return to the heart of Gibara, where you can enjoy a traditional Cuban lunch if desired, before heading back to your accommodations in Guardalavaca. This trip mirrors the route of our group Gibara Exploration Tour.
