When booking, you can choose between four different options, all including pickup and drop-off at our meeting point in Banff (the bus parking lot behind the Hotel Mount Royal), transportation by minibus, and an English-speaking guide.
Below are the details of each option:
Stanley Glacier Hike (3-4 hours)
This tour in Kootenay National Park offers views of the Stanley Glacier. The trail traverses a recently affected area by a forest fire, providing views of Vermilion Pass. The journey continues to view Mount Stanley and Storm Mountain before reaching the glacier. Departure time: Thursdays and Sundays at 8 am.
Larch Valley Hike (4-5 hours)
This tour ascends the Larch Valley, exploring its famous 10 bends and a larch forest. The trail leads to Sentinel Pass and the Minnestimma lakes, with views of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake, and Mount Temple. Departure time: Mondays and Saturdays at 8 am.
Consolation Lake Hike (3-4 hours)
The hike starts through the valley of the Ten Peaks near Moraine Lake, navigating to Consolation Lake with views of the Fay Glacier atop Mount Babel. The return includes crossing Moraine Lake and ascending Rockpile. Departure time: Tuesdays at 8 am.
Six Glaciers Hike (5 hours)
The hike starts on the shore of Lake Louise toward an ancient glacial valley. After ascending, participants can visit the Plain of Six Glaciers teahouse for refreshments and views. Weather permitting, there will be an approach to Abbot Pass. Departure time: Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 am.
