Bengaluru Myths & Legends Walking Tour

After meeting your guide at St Luke's Church, you will begin your walking tour of the myths and legends of Bengaluru. You will walk to Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, the residence of the 18th century ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore, where you can admire the Indo-Islamic architecture and notice tiger decorations symbolizing the Sultan.

Visit the palace armoury to view a collection of swords, shields, firearms, and cannons from various eras of Indian history. As you explore the palace, your guide will share myths and legends associated with the site.

You will then delve into the historic centre of Bengaluru, formerly known as Bangalore, learning fantastical tales about the city. You'll stroll past significant temples, including Kote Venkataramana Swamy, and traditional Indian homes.

Your guided tour will conclude at Bangalore Fort, a 16th century stronghold of Tipu Sultan that was captured by the British East India Company. This site offers a tranquil escape from the city, filled with secrets waiting to be discovered.
