This tour begins at Burgalimar Castle, a historic fortress of Umayyad origin located in Baños de la Encina, Jaén. The guided visit to Baños de la Encina Castle lasts approximately 45 minutes. During the tour, participants will explore the castle’s solid walled enclosure and learn about its history, including its significance during the Andalusian period and its strategic location at the start of the Guadalquivir valley. The site witnessed conflicts between Muslims and Christians throughout the Middle Ages.

Key historical events include the Battle of Navas de Tolosa in 1212, which occurred a few kilometers from the castle.
