Tour of Baños de la Encina

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Tourist Office on José Luis Messía Avenue to start our guided tour of Baños de la Encina.

Our first stop will be the Muslim castle of Bury Al-Hamma (Burgalimar in Spanish) from the Caliphate period (10th century). It is one of the best-preserved castles in Europe and the only one made of tabiyya. We'll walk around its towers and admire views of the village from inside.

During the excursion, we'll visit the church of San Mateo and the hermitage of Cristo del Llano, known for its rich decorations considered one of the best examples of Andalusian rococo baroque. Mirrors embedded in the walls reflect the sculptures and create a solemn atmosphere.

Then, we will walk through the historic centre of Baños de la Encina, where we'll see stately houses and ancient jewels that have been preserved.

After 2 hours of touring, we'll conclude the tour.
