Alejandro de Humboldt National Park Trip
At the indicated time, pickup from your hotel in Baracoa will occur before heading to the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site recognized in 2001 for its biodiversity.
Upon arrival, we will visit Taco Bay and embark on a moderate 2-mile (3 km) trek along the El Recreo trail. The tour offers insights into the region's fauna and flora, with a climb to a viewpoint providing extensive views of the bay.
Participants will continue exploring the park's paths, surrounded by palm trees, Mayari pines, and wild orchids. After the hike, there will be an opportunity to swim in the Recreo River.
Before returning to Baracoa, guests will have free time at Maguana beach to enjoy a local lunch and the beach's turquoise waters and fine sand, serving as a reward after the hike. The total duration of the tour is 8 hours, concluding with drop-off at your hotel.
