Alejandro de Humboldt National Park Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Baracoa before heading to the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO for its rich biodiversity in 2001.
Once in the park, we'll go to Taco Bay and follow the El Recreo trail on a moderate 2-mile (3 km) trek. During the tour, we will discover the region's exotic fauna and flora, and we will climb up to a viewpoint that provides spectacular panoramas of the bay.
We will continue exploring the paths of the park surrounded by palm trees, Mayari pines, and orchids that grow wild on the rocks. After the walk, you can take a refreshing dip in the waters of the Recreo River.
Before returning to Baracoa, you'll have some free time on the beach of Maguana. You can recharge with a local lunch and enjoy the turquoise waters and fine sand of this paradise. This is a fitting reward after the morning hike.
Finally, we return to Baracoa, concluding the tour with a drop-off at your hotel after a total of 8 hours.
