Boat Ride Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Baracoa, we will head to the region of Guantánamo, known for cacao, sugarcane, and coffee production. You will see plantations along the way.
During the boat ride, we will make stops to learn about the culture of the mountainous area. We'll visit Finca Duaba, a cacao farm, to learn about cacao cultivation and its production process. You will also taste a cup of chorote, a traditional drink made from coconut milk and cacao.
Next, we will stop at Toa Ranch for a 1-hour boat ride on the Toa River, Cuba's most abundant river. You will be surrounded by a UNESCO-declared World Network of Biosphere Reserve.
After the boat ride, we will return to the ranch for a typical lunch from the region.
Then, we will head to Maguana Beach, known for its white sand and clear waters, where you will have 2 hours of free time. You can swim, snorkel, or enjoy lunch with views of the sea.
Finally, we will begin our journey back to Baracoa, concluding our activity 8 hours after pickup.
