In this tour through the Amazonian parks of Belen, we will discover part of the Amazonian fauna and flora in the city center.
Belen Amazonian Parks Tour
At the specified time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Belen to start this tour through its parks, observing examples of Amazonian fauna and flora without leaving the city center.
We will begin at the Mangal das Garças environmental park, situated on the banks of the Guamá River, covering 40,000 square meters where you can observe birds in their natural habitat. We will also learn about the life cycle of butterflies in the Butterfly Farm and climb the tower for views of Belém.
Next, we'll visit the Botanical Garden Museu Emílio Goeldi, founded in 1911, which is a reference in the study of Amazonian fauna and culture and is the oldest scientific institution in the Amazon.
We will conclude the tour at the Rodrigues Alves Forest, a 15-hectare area that preserves Amazon rainforest.
After three and a half hours, we will return to your hotel, completing the activity.
