Join us on a captivating tour of ceramic craftsmanship in Icoaraci, one of Brazil's top handicraft hubs, where you'll encounter exquisite handmade creations and learn about how they're made.
Description
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and head to Icoaraci, situated 18 kilometers (11 miles) from downtown Belém. This town is known for its ceramic craftsmanship. The tour will captivate you from start to finish.
During our visit to Icoaraci, we'll explore various pottery workshops and meet ceramic artisans who will share insights into their craft. You'll discover one of Pará state's primary hubs for handicraft production and learn about the Icoaraciense, Marajoara, and Tapajônica cultures.
At each workshop, artisans will guide us through the step-by-step process of creating ceramic pieces, highlighting the intricate details of their work. You'll also have some opportunities to buy souvenirs.
At the end of our pottery tour, we'll visit the Icoaraci waterfront, where you can enjoy a refreshing sip of coconut water, if desired.
After approximately four hours of exploration, we'll conclude the tour and return to your hotel in Belém.
